The legend of the mermaid reminds of us of an ancient fairy tale. She is a mystical creature from a land lost in time.

The mermaid is peaceful, free and comes from the higher vibrations of love. She follows her heart, her sacred calling and intuitive energies. When the mermaid appears in your life and begins to sing to you, she has come to awaken you to a deeper level of being and feeling. She wants to teach you about expressing the most authentic version of yourself and knowing your life purpose.

How do you stand out? What makes you different? What makes you original? What makes you unique?

Mythology speaks to the idea that the mermaid is the Goddess of the Sea, Aphrodite of the oceanic realm. Therefore, the mermaid is sacred. The mermaid invites us to connect to our sacred heart and to be a healer of the heart.

Mermaid brings us the greatest gift of all. The gift of life – the ability to connect to our sacred self, to our sacred callings, gifts and blessings.

She teaches courage and how to trust in the unknown.

The mermaid also teaches us about transformation. She brings us into the depths of our emotions when we are receptive. Allowing any pain, sorrow or frustration to be there, then ebb and flow. The mystic teacher, Osho, often speaks of the Buddha’s journey to enlightenment. When after years of seeking, he finally surrendered knowing there was nothing else to do. That was the night he became enlightened. Transformation comes like death, in its own time, taking you from one identity to your authentic self.

When we let go, when we surrender, what are we dropping? We are dropping the heavy weight of conditioning, belief, doubt, criticism, mind so that we may enter into a pure state of knowing and existence. It brings an awesome transformation to be felt with an open and loving heart.

Transformation is a metamorphosis. An opening..   

Breathe, be still, allowing that moment to come in its own time. How will you know? It will feel like a thousand doors have flung open in your heart.

The mermaid is the greatest Divine Enchantress of all. She swims into your life with the promise of enchantment and offers you the journey of your own wholeness. If you allow her into your heart, she will show you the way towards a balanced, true love, a joyful life as well as inner beauty and riches that are your true treasure.
